Event artist Mario Bourgeois Leduc and culinary artist Jacky Bourgeois Leduc have brought their passion for creativity and provided Moncton with a unique venue for corporate events, weddings and all special occasions.
La Teraz is a centre for incredible events with it’s own art gallery, culinary service and bar service for it’s guests. Skilled at organizing and executing business meetings, workshops, conferences, launching of new products, summer and winter staff parties or personal events such as weddings and family reunions, La Teraz can host from 2 to 150 people.
La Teraz is where creativity comes alive when designing an exceptional event. Culinary artist Jacky Bourgeois Leduc and event artist Mario Bourgeois Leduc have created and continue to create their own unique recipes, some taking 5 years to perfect.
La Teraz works with the very best businesses in the Greater Moncton area specializing in decor and event decorations. We continue to grow our list of resources including a sommelier that can suggest wines from an international selection, bartenders that guide in becoming the artist of your own cocktails, and a world of international pastries, specialized cakes and our own chocolate truffles, “The Amore Passion” (ideal as gifts or as part of the event).
Our art gallery and boutique section offers over 150 art pieces from Professional, Emerging and Youth artists, and even more are available from our database. We have a selection of corporate gifts that are set according to price and composition to ensure your satisfaction.
About the owners
Mario and Jacky Bourgeois Leduc have a combination of 50 years of event planning experience, including hosting, creating culinary delights, setting the stage and planning all aspects.

For almost a decade Mario and Jacky have successfully built a reputation creating incredible events in the Moncton area.
Jacky Bourgeois Leduc studied hotel management in France and has worked in the Principality Andorra and Paris. He was the Maitre D’hôte at Emily’s Restaurant, one of the first French fine dining restaurants in Moncton and then at the Beauséjour Hotel.
Mario Bourgeois Leduc studied at U de M and spent over 20 years creating and planning event and community development projects. He began creating events involving the arts with the fundamentals of relationship building and then Choice Theory to develop personal and business relationships, before founding La Teraz.
About the property
Over the past century, La Teraz was a private home. The first family to own 154 Church St. was the Winters family who developed the Capitol Theatre and Empress theatre, the first artistic centre of Moncton.
Now La Teraz has become a home to the arts.
Mario and Jacky developed the property as an artistic center unaware of the history that has since been uncovered. They began developing the property to host weddings and corporate events from June to September on the outside Teraz. In 2008, they constructed an additional 2,000 square feet indoors to allow them to create events in all seasons.
The essence of La Teraz is the creative process that brings dreams and objectives to life, incorporating the sights, sounds, taste and an incredible experience that leads to success.
